Quick Improvements

We were pleased to hear, after Tyler's Saturday blood draw, that his blasts are already down to 50% less than what they were on Friday.  We think this is probably due to changing his medicine from Interferon to Tasigna on Thursday night.

Let's hope this is a sign of things to come!!!

  5. I just found your blog and have been reading Tyler's story...I too have CML (blast phase) diagnosed in Nov. '09 - and I am headed to transplant with an unrelated donor in the near future...I just wanted to say how brave I think you both are and that my prayers are with you at this time...God Bless

  7. Hey T-bone!

Wonderful news that your blasts are retreating. That's great to hear after last week's scary revelations.

Think of all the hurdles that have been put before you over the past 3 years. You've really come a long way in spite of them all, even though it may not feel like it at times.

Rest assured, you will win this fight. You always win - that is why I kicked the basketball over the house in frustration. That is why I lunged at you when I had my ass handed to me in Basement Pillowfight 1978. That is why all of YOUR teams made it to the finals of the Internationatournament World Ping Pong Championship (I knew it was a mistake picking Phil Mahre as my alternate).

Hugs, love, and missed high fives aplenty.

    Mark
    P.S. Long live Fizzy Malone.
